Sunday 14 January
15.00: Leon Goretzka will decide on his future in the coming days, according to Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
Goretzka has been linked with Manchester United, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
And Rummenigge has urged him to choose Bayern but Liverpool believe they can win the race.
“Now it is up to the player to decide, and it would be nice if he chose Bayern in the end. You only have an agreement when you sign the contract,” he said.
“All top clubs like Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United or Juventus wanted him, so it is perfectly legal and normal that the top club from Germany is interested in this player, too.
“The decision will be taken in a few days.”
13.35: RB Leipzig have released a statement on Naby Keita’s future amid talk of an early transfer to Liverpool.
Liverpool had opened talks over a move to bring Keita to Liverpool this month having agreed to sign him in the summer.
Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool wanted the midfielder now after selling Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.
And Keita was understood to be keen on the move and talks had opened to bring forward the deal.
However Leipzig have released a statement saying he WILL be staying until the summer
“Naby Keita remains up to the 30.06.2018 player of RB Leipzig,” it read.
“We will finish the speculation to a premature change in winter from #Keita to Liverpool FC.”
City dealt another transfer blow?
13:30: Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is wanted by both Manchester clubs and Liverpool.
But with United set to sign him, Manchester City’s plans have been dealt a major blow.
And Diario Gol say things could be about to get worse for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Sergio Aguero is supposedly keen to join Real Madrid, fully aware of Los Blancos’ current striker woes.
Yet any move may hinge on Lionel Messi with the Barcelona star doing his best to talk Aguero out of a move.
Arsenal eye Malcom
11.45: Arsenal are hoping to sign Ligue 1 ace Malcom to replace him and Guillem Balague claims a deal is in place for a replacement.
The Spanish football expert told Sky Sports’ Transfer Talk podcast: “If Alexis goes now they are prepared.
“They’ve got a name, they’ve got a player that will replace him.
“They don’t have to negotiate anything with him – it’s just a matter of seeing if Alexis leaves now or at the end of the season.
“They are prepared for the departure and they say he’s a big name and it’s not just a kid coming through.
“We’ll see what happens with that.
“At the moment, in terms of facts, Manchester United have not spoken to Arsenal. They have spoken to Alexis and the wages are higher than what City are offering Alexis.”
Merson wants Mkhi
11.35: Arsenal legend Paul Merson wants Alexis Sanchez to join Manchester United – if the Gunners get Henrikh Mkhitaryan in return.
Merson says the Armenian would be a star at Arsenal, something they would not have if Sanchez and fellow contract-rebel Mesut Ozil left the club.
Asked who the Gunners stars would be if the duo went, Merson said on Sky Sports: “They haven’t got one, they haven’t got one.
“That’s why I think if you can get Sanchez to Man United and get Mkhitaryan.
“I think Mkhitaryan’s one of the best players in the Premier League, I honestly do.”
10.50: RB Leipzig fans have said goodbye to Naby Keita as he looks to make an early switch to Liverpool.
Liverpool have an agreement to sign Keita in the summer of 2018 but are looking to bring the move forward.
Jurgen Klopp wants the midfielder in now after losing Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona and is prepared to pay around £12m to bring him in this month.
Reports in Germany claimed yesterday’s game against Schalke could be Keita’s final match with suggestions a deal could be sorted today.
And Leipzig fans have said goodbye to their midfield maestro after he scored in the victory.
Liverpool eye Sanchez
10.04: Liverpool are reportedly ready to rival Manchester United and Manchester City for Arsenal man Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez is wanted by both Manchester clubs, however, Arsenal’s asking price is proving to be a sticking point for City while United have given the Chile international a deadline of Friday to make a decision.
But according to the Daily Mirror, Liverpool are now considering a move.

09.50: Manchester United reportedly feel signing PSG star Neymar would be the perfect gift for Jose Mourinho.
Manchester United missed out of Neymar in the summer with the Brazil international leaving Barcelona for a new challenge with PSG.
The 25-year-old has been a huge hit at the Parc Des Princes, scoring 20 goals from 22 games and establishing a stunning relationship with the likes of Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe.
However, talk is already rife he could leave at the end of the season with reports in recent days suggesting Manchester United may be about to chance their arm with a bid in the region of £440million.
And Spanish outlet Don Balon say the Red Devils want to sign Neymar as they think he could be the key to Mourinho landing the club the Premier League title.
That prize is likely to evade them this season.
Sanchez transfer curveball
06:30: Liverpool are reportedly plotting a stunning January swoop for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.
Manchester United are the frontrunners to sign him, and Sunday Express Sport understands the club have given the Chilean a deadline to let them know whether or not he wants to join.
Manchester City are also keen on a move, however they are refusing to meet the Gunners’ £35million valuation of the player.
But now according to the Sunday Mirror, Liverpool have set their sights on a deal.
The report suggests Klopp is in ongoing discussions with the club’s owners FSG to see if there is a way they can bid for Sanchez.
Alexis Sanchez proposal
06:00: Manchester United are reportedly prepared to pay Alexis Sanchez more money to prevent Manchester City from signing him.
Manchester United have emerged as the frontrunners to sign him after reports emerged Manchester City refused to pay the Gunners’ £35million asking price.
Jose Mourinho was supposedly prepared to use Henrikh Mkhitaryan as a makeweight in a potential deal.
Sunday Express Sport understands Sanchez has been informed he must decide this week whether he wants to join United otherwise he can forget it.
And according to The Sun on Sunday, Sanchez is in line to pocket an extra £60,000-a-week if he chooses United over City.
The report suggests Mourinho will ‘fight’ to land the Arsenal contract rebel.
Liverpool Riyad Mahrez claim
05:30: Robbie Savage is adamant Liverpool and Arsenal target Riyad Mahrez is easily worth £75million.
Express Sport understands that while the Reds have begun negotiations to sign Mahrez, the Algerian winger would prefer a move to Arsenal.
While it is not known how much Mahrez would fetch were he to leave this month, Savage was quick to make his own valuation.
“I’d say Mahrez is worth £75m,” Savage told BBC Radio 5 live.
“Van Dijk has gone for £75m and he’s a defender.
“Mahrez was PFA Player of the Year two years ago and he’s won the Premier League so why he’s not worth £75m?”
Chelsea’s Alex Sandro pursuit
05:00: Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to muscle in on Chelsea’s pursuit for Juventus star Alex Sandro.
Chelsea have been credited with a serious interest in the defender.
So far, Antonio Conte has brought in Ross Barkley for £15m, but the Italian tactician wants to make more reinforcements before the window closes.
And according to the Sunday Mirror, Mourinho has made it clear to the board that he wants Sandro.
It is said he is prepared to meet Juve’s asking price of the 26-year-old.
Lionel Messi Barcelona order
04:30: Lionel Messi has reportedly told Barcelona he doesn’t want Antoine Griezmann at the club, and they should instead opt to sign Paulo Dybala.
Barcelona have already spent in excess of £350million since last summer on forwards alone following the arrivals of Ousmane Dembele and most recently Philippe Coutinho, including Messi’s signing on fee for his new contract.
But they are reportedly still interested in bringing in another striker to bolster their options.
And Griezmann is believed to be the favourite among club chiefs with Atletico Madrid prepared to listen to offers at the end of the season.
However, according to Spanish outlet Mi Otra Liga, Messi has warned the Catalan club against a move for Griezmann.
He has instead told Barcelona to focus their efforts on prying Dybala away from Juventus.
